1. HOW DO I SIGN UP FOR YOUR EVENTS?

Sign up via our mobile app myCrew (iOS | Android). Our events are free but their capacity is limited! Make sure to tap 'check in' in the app when you arrive to the event so we can record your attendance.

2. THE EVENT SAYS IT’S FULL, CAN I STILL COME?

We have to keep a limit on numbers so sadly not - but please sign up to the waiting list (if there is one) and we will let you know if there are any late cancellations. We have to put a cap on our events for safety reasons. We recommend signing up to another future MR event.

3.  IS THERE A FEE?

No – New York Midnight Runners is totally free.

4.  HOW OFTEN/ WHEN DO YOU RUN?

Please check our Facebook page or the myCrew app (iOS | Android) for the latest details but typically:

  • Wednesday 10k Boot Camp Run - EVERY WEEK - starting at 7:30pm (please arrive by 7:15pm to check in and leave your bag)

5.  HOW FAST DO YOU RUN/ AM I FAST ENOUGH?

The speed of our group varies between 6:30 min/ miles to 9:30 min /miles. On our 10k boot camp workout stops are a perfect opportunity for slower runners to catch up with the faster ones but to enjoy them, you should be capable of running 10k (6 miles) in 60 mins. You should be comfortable in running 10k.

6. WHAT DISTANCE DO YOU TYPICALLY RUN?

  • Wednesday Boot Camp Run – 10k but we stop every 2k to engage in awesome boot camp exercises

7. WHERE DO YOU MEET UP?

  • Wednesday Boot Camp Run
  • Midnight runs – varies but usually in a known New York location. Have a look at our Facebook page or the myCrew app (iOS | Android) for details.

10. IS THERE A BAG CHECK AVAILABLE?

  • Wednesday Boot Camp Run – Yes, there is an opportunity to store your clothes & bags securely on Wednesday. Please turn up at least 15 minutes before the run to store your bag.

11. WHO ORGANISES MIDNIGHT RUNNERS?

Midnight Runners is organised by a group of volunteers, known as Crew Captains – you will recognise them by the C bands at events. There is a lot of work that goes on behind the scenes and none of the Crew are paid by Midnight Runners. We all have other jobs but are enthusiastic about keeping running inclusive and fun.

12. WHAT MUSIC DO YOU PLAY?

It varies from event to event, but it's always good running music! We also carry a bunch of Ultimate Ears Boom and Megaboom speakers as well as the PartyBag so New York can hear us ;-)

13. WHAT ARE THE ‘MIDNIGHT’ RUNS?

Each month we organise a special run on Friday / Saturday which is themed and followed by an after-run party! It is a lot of fun!

14. COULD YOU TELL ME MORE ABOUT THE AFTER-RUN PARTY?

Sure. After the Midnight Run (typically around 11pm) we head to a bar for a party and to grab a few drinks. There is a DJ, dance floor and, like in any bar, a wide selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks.

15. DOES EVERYONE GO AS THEY ARE TO THE AFTER-RUN PARTY OR IS THERE SOMEWHERE TO GET CHANGED?

Most people go as they are, but of course you can get changed. There are no showers, though.
